Types of data collected
Any data collected and subsequently processed are provided by the user on a voluntary basis, by entering the information in the registration form on the website or by sending a contact request.
Personal data collected are: name, surname, email, company, date of birth, place of birth, province of birth, tax code and/or VAT number, telephone, residential address, zip code, city and country.
Personal data that may reveal racial and ethnic origin, religious, philosophical or other beliefs, political opinions, membership of political parties, trade unions, associations or organizations of a religious, philosophical, political or trade union nature, as well as personal data that may reveal health and sex life, and those relating to health, are sensitive data. Such data, together with judicial data, are not required by the Data Controller.
Purpose of the processing
All personal data provided through the website are processed lawfully and fairly in order to provide the requested services and respond to user communications and inquiries, always in compliance with the Data Controller’s institutional duties as required by law.
Under no circumstances will the Data Controller resell the user’s personal data to third parties or use them for undeclared purposes or for purposes other than institutional ones. By contacting the Data Controller, Users may obtain clarification on the purpose of data collection or on what data are actually collected. If Users believe the data processed are excessive with respect to the purposes indicated above, they may contact the Data Controller.
Transfer of data to third countries or to international organisations
The Data Controller does not intend to transfer personal data to third countries or international organizations.
Methods of processing the data collected
Personal data collected from users are processed with automated, IT and/or telematic tools, with organizational methods and technical measures to guarantee their security for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use, so as to prevent UNAUTHORIZED access, disclosure, modification or destruction of personal data.
Place of processing
Data processing related to the web services of this website takes place at the operational headquarters of the Data Controller.
Access to collected data is handled exclusively by the staff of the Financial and Commercial Service of the Italian Military Geographic Institute in Viale Strozzi, Florence and occasionally by special units charged for maintenance operations on the website.
The data are used only for performing the requested services and are communicated to third parties only if necessary (for example postal delivery services).
Data retention period
Unless you explicitly request deletion, your personal data will be retained for as long as necessary for the legitimate purposes for which they were collected. Specifically, it will be retained for a maximum period of 24 (twenty-four) months from the last access or purchase of Services or Products. If a user submits personal data that are unsolicited or unnecessary for the performance of the requested service or the provision of a service strictly related to them, the Data Controller cannot be considered as Holder and will therefore delete them as quickly as possible.
