Useful information for visitors

  • Access to the Historical Museum of Italian Cartography is free of charge and is available for groups, with guided tours in Italian and English, by reservation.
  • Please note that the Library is also open for consultation. However, reservations are also required to access this service.
  • For school groups with a specific school programme and for experts in the field, a presentation of the IGMI’s work by technical staff of the Institute can also be arranged on request.
  • The tour includes a visit to the Museum of Instruments and the Library premises.
