The toponymy database includes all toponyms listed in the “Tavoletta” maps at scale 1:25,000, 25V series (about 750,000 entries). The acquired information was coded according to the FACC (Feature and Attribute Coding Catalogue) standard of the DIGEST(Digital Geographic Exchange Standard). The datum was georeferenced in the Gauss conformal projection and referenced to the national geodetic system (Rome 40). Points coordinates are also provided in the ED50 geodetic system. Toponyms are provided in dbf format, each line containing information about the FACC encoding, the reference “Tavoletta” map and the coordinates of the toponym (we provide the “Tavoletta” map).
