The Historical Museum of Italian Cartography is a permanent institution dedicated to preserving, valuing and promoting the study and understanding of cartographic documentation of the Italian territory, through two-dimensional and three-dimensional cartographic representations, as well as the theories, methods, and tools used to produce them throughout history.
It consists of two sections: the Museum of Instruments and the Library.
Admission by reservation, with free mandatory guided tour
Weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. [Saturday and Sunday closed]
Closed on New Year’s Day, Easter Monday, May 1, August 15, June 24, December 25, December 26
