Free entrance and group guided tours, with an Italian-speaking guide, available upon reservation. They are conducted at the Institute’s historical headquarters in Florence, via Cesare Battisti 10 from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The tour includes a visit to the Museum of Instruments and the Library premises. For school group with a specific program and for experts in the field,a presentation of the IGMI’s work by technical staff of the Institute can also be arranged upon request.
Please also note that the Library is also open for consultation, reading, borrowing and copying of works. Reservation is still required to access this service by calling +39 0552732204 (Library and Museum of Instruments Head Office) from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
