The large hall is divided into three naves with cross vaults supported by pietra serena elegant columns. It was part of a building dating back to 1429. In 1786, the architect Gaspare Maria Paoletti was commissioned to convert the building into grand-ducal stables by Pietro Leopoldo, the Grand Duke of Tuscany.
